fit pics will follow soon@Alex the cut on this Type 2 is absolutely stunning! specially the less wide sleeves are awesome. the fabric feels more like 14 or 16oz compared to my lefty but this makes it the perfect summer denim jacket for me.
Would love to see a Type 2 in 21oz in the same cut some day…. -

Hi @Daniel-San ,
I am on the verge to buy my first type II but hesitating between this one and the cotton/linen blend issued for SS 26.
I am looking for something less stubborn than the classic heavyweight (409 ib, lefty etc) so it seems this one is heavy with good fade potential yet comfy?

this one is definitely not comparable with a lefty . From that point it’s comfortable yes , but of course it’s still pretty stiff as it’s brand new.
Maybe that’s a question for @SamD who is wearing it for almost a year ? now . And I guess he can answer the question about comparing it to the linen cotton version better .

no I took L as I don’t want to wear thicker sweaters under it. For me it’s more a summer, autumn and spring jacket so so only wear a tshirt, henley or thermal longsleeve underneath. But XL would work too I guess. -

@tvaillant75 If you’re looking for fade potential, the 19oz is probably the way to go. As @Daniel-San mentioned, it’s not as stiff as the 19oz lefty denim, so it’s easier to break in – comparable to 21oz imo.
The cotton/linen, on the other hand, is a far less structured denim. Definitely looser, slouchier and more breathable, but I wouldn’t expect it to fade with as much contrast as the 19oz. Hope that helps.
