100% honest that the sangria shop in the picture is good but not as good as the street vendor across the street. Decoration is a little (a lot) overdone and it’s the perfect tourist trap for those who have reached the top of the street.
We went up and down the Main Street in the Barrio Alto district to see what kind of things there were to see, love some of the things I’ve posted pictures of, and plan to pull out the Leica tomorrow to see what I can come up with. The iPhone makes it easy to take the pictures and try out a bunch of different shots quickly…the leica is going to make me work
Excited to see what adventures may come, but yes @Matt riding around with @Giles makes any day a little brighter.

Dinner from last night (note that the kids weren’t big fans and ended up eating chips from a vendor on the walk back to the hotel). They’ll learn.

@goosehd Lisbon is definitely on my hit list and your photos sell it well.
I don’t know if it would be of interest to you but Benfica ( biggest and most successful football team in Portugal) are playing at home on Saturday night at the Estádio da Luz ( Stadium of Light).
Before every game they have an eagle which is the mascot of Benfica, fly around the stadium, and then lands on top of the club’s crest.
