so sorry to read about this & hopeful the folks who did this will get what they have coming. man insurance isn't going to cover much when you think about the way this works & the tight margins & all that kind of stuff.

So sorry to hear this. I'm visiting Berlin for the first time in a few days and had a trip to DC4 planned. Hope everything works out.

Spoke with Daniel about this outrage at the bread and butter. Your composure under the circumstances, man, if I didn't already feel highest respect and affection, I would now!
Daniel asked me not to spread the word before it was made "official" at the DC4 blog, so I didn't. Now that it is, please everyone do keep eyes and ears open. The damage is done, but these criminals deserve to get caught. Plus the offer of reward is typically generous. (free pair of jeans plus discount on three future purchases). Due to the stamp on one of the inner pocket linings, loot from the burglary ought to be easily spotted. We have an around-the-globe network here, I have a strong feeling there is a member of this forum who will have a chance to get this solved. Let's not let it pass!

I have briefed all my employees at all four Self Edge locations that if anybody brings in a pair with the DC4 stamp for hemming we'll be thoroughly questioning them.
With the number of jeans that were taken i am positive a minimum of a few pairs will make their way to customers in the states wanting to get them hemmed. -
