@Mizmazzle I did (oil on panel board) there was a time I was able to support myself with commissioned portraits and landscapes but desperately needed a consistent paycheck some time after the 08’ housing crash. I still paint but mostly for myself or for friends n family now.

@Mizmazzle I'm painting this one to fill wall space in our front room in the house. I'll hang others where I can. I used to show work in galleries in my 20s but lost interest in the schmoozing aspect. I lost contact with all that...

Working an oil painting for the Mrs. Got a solid session in last night, knocked out most of the background foliage and little of the base layer on the flowers

Progress over four or five weeks of painting. I have been painting on Sundays for a few hours each session. I will keep on keepin' on till I'm through. Shouldn't be too long now. Next, I want to paint a large one like this of Iceland.
