@Mizmazzle Alex said that those are from a collab and he’s gotta leave the announcement to the shop that’s releasing it.

Stevie and I were shooting some messages back and forth, trying to sleuth it out. It’s got a motorcycle patch and “extra heavy denim” like the 21oz T3. It doesn’t seem to have a red W though, and I was wondering to myself if it might even be a vest. Whatever the case, my guess is that it might be a special superblack (maybe non fade?) thing.

@Mizmazzle I have been thinking about this one a ton too, especially this weekend. Regardless of when it drops, I'm going to hold off and keep wearing my T1 for now. I'm nearing 100 wears with that one. Either way I'm so stoked for the SBG.

@popvulture yeah, I'm so curious about that! It was fun trying to figure that one out haha...I wonder who will announce it.

@Oaktavia yeah. I may end up letting it live in my closet for a bit until I’m happy with some of the pieces I’m currently working on. I do find with black denim that I love how it looks so much even when new that I think I can be happy with the SBG type 3 as a piece I don’t have to rage out. Though I’ll still wear it hard over time. Compared to the lefty that was like maniacal wear to get it to a place I was happy with.

@popvulture black vest eh?? Ok. Not my thing but I know lots of other will be stoked on that. I can be content and wait. Haha. Sort of. I’ve been really fortunate to acquire some personal grail pieces this year so lord knows I’ve got my hands full fading these. Adam says soon though so eyes peeled!!

@Mizmazzle @Oaktavia yup I totally agree about stashing this one for a bit and having a cool new thing to bust out next year. Also on the same page about not wearing this one aggressively hard to get to some ideal fade place quickly; I really love the way black denim slowly builds character.

Re: the vest idea, I just couldn’t tell from the pic if it has arms. I do remember someone doing a non-fade black vest maybe a couple years ago, I think. Maybe SOP?

I'm afraid it's an SB not an SBG because of the black "W" instead of the red one, but from what I understand they'll come out around the same time so let's keep our fingers crossed

@AdamJ It's neat how this one ages. I like how the pockets crinkle and the way the triangles below them lighten up. The waist looks cool too, crinkly fades. I dig the marbling too, it gives it an 80s vintage don't-give-a-feck vibe.
