️@endo yeah, altogether 8047 km roundtrip on my odometer. But we took 26 days on it so daily travel wasn’t excessive and left plenty non-riding time for hikes, meeting people, etc.

I love ‘em. Got them from another forum member and they have become my defacto ‘day-off’ footwear on bike trips.
Four years ago I had a minor bike tumble on another trip and hurt my ankle. It swelled up to the point I couldn’t fit my bike boot…and my IHVB hiker came to the rescue! It can fit ANY sized ankles and still lace up nicely.
