Graphic comparisons between IH cuts
-
I wanted to see the difference between some cuts and made a quick graphic comparison between 666, 777, 888 and 634. Using photos from Brund's website (of jeans all in size 33) that are taken from a similar angle and size I placed the photos next to each other and drew lines across 4 points. I also added color coded points across the hem to illustrate the differences in width. Comparison areas: **The bottom of the back pocket The side seam's end The side pocket rivet The top of the waist Additional points in hem opening/cuff width** Of course this is a rough comparison and the cuffing varies in length, but you still get a good idea of the differences. I couldn't find a good 555 picture but if someone finds one let me know and I'll add it. All points stacked:

This is an awesome tool!!! @rovdjurstorget deserves a looonnnggg applause from me for this idea and its implementation… I’ve been considering buying a 777 for quite some time but had some doubts With this chart I can safely conclude that for my motorcycle riding I’m better off with a 666 or a 634 given their higher and more comfortable rear pocket placement. In addition, a 666 is better for me as it has a lower rise than a 634 as I’m used to low-rise jeans. Fantastic tool for me!
I’m sure smarter guys already knew all this but for the laggards like me this tool is a revelation!

Also, @rovdjurstorget , thank you for including the 634!!!

I’m sure smarter guys already knew all this but for the laggards like me this tool is a revelation!Thank you guys, I'm glad this visual aid could help you get a clearer view on the cuts. I do have to add. Although the 777 is a low rise with low back pockets, it's one of the most comfortable jeans I own. This has more to do with getting the right size for your body type to feel comfortable. I once did the mistake of buying the 666s 21oz one size too small, and it was a too much work to wear as everyday jeans. Lesson learned: Always buy jeans with a good enough margin, snug but never too tight. The low pocket thing also works out pretty good with the 777's as I feel the wallet or mobile really end up laying flat, and not halfway pointing out of the pocket. I still haven't tried 634's but I'm tempted, together with 888's, as I'm more into comfort than tight stretchy projects lately. Also, @rovdjurstorget , thank you for including the 634!!! Thank you for suggesting it! As soon as I find a good 555 photo from the same angle, I'll add it as well.

I added the 555 cut to the graphic comparison. I found a photo that almost matches the angle and size of the others. It's not perfect but shows the basic differences in key points. The new color for the tripple 5 is PINK.

@T4920 said in Graphic comparisons between IH cuts: Has a low rise cut with a wider straight leg ever been discussed? No. We are working on a new cut at the moment, but it won’t have a low rise
-
@Alex will the new cut be wider than a 634?
-
@Alex Nice. I need a little more flare in my wardrobe.
