From my experience, the OG African stuff I find that I can afford are usually torched. As long as it doesn't skip, I'm usually all for it. Hope that things plays great!

Speaking of - anyone eyeing anything for RSD 2025?

@GraemeE there's a surprisingly good list of jazz titles getting released for RDS this year but I have my eye on the Lianna La Havas LP if I do make my way to the shop.

Not the biggest fan of Sun Ra, but I’ve got the Donald Byrd release that they did a few years back in that Artisan series. Sam records in general do really well chosen, good quality reissues.
