      @Darth-fader - Amazing, just picked this up myself (in transit)! No preorder but snagged the last 38/M at suggestion of Ben and that I’m a solid 40 in the rest of my Y2’s (size large shirts in iron heart and a medium in iron hearts N-1). I’m worried about the shoulders. Similar to the Kakishibu Scar Chore I went with a 40 and it’s good w/ a t-shirt, but I def snug and filled out if I layer a t-shirt and a UHF. Wish I could have tried on both sizes but they only had the 38M left.

      What did you size to vs. normal sizing? What kinds of layers can you get under it comfortably?

        @Kjunx I am sort of inbetween XL and L in iron heart shirts, and M and L in the N1, so can go either way for a snugger fitted look or a little roomier fit.....I have the standard Y2 N1 (with the thicker alpaca lining) in size 42 and it fits well, but I can only wear it with a t-shirt (which is fine as the jacket is so warm) so it fits me like a Medium iron heart N1 would.....the Sop n1 is also a 42 but has the thinner lining, so it fits well but has some extra room if I wanted to layer (uhf or even a hoodie) - it fits me more like the Large iron heart N1 would. So it's hard to say as body type plays a factor, but the sop one is a bit more forgiving than the standard one fit wise.

          @Darth-fader helpful; Thank you.

          I’ll report back here with where I landed with my fit. Hopefully will be helpful to others as they look to guide any preorder decisions.

          Update: Received the size 38 today and unfortunately it’s a tight fit in the shoulders and upper chest with a t-shirt when zipped - severely limiting mobility. no way I could wear with a hoodie or UHF. I’ll have to size up to a 40 (not currently in stock). Otherwise it’s a gorgeous jacket; wish it fit me on this go around; very different cut than say the Iron Heart N-1 in size Medium.

            For folks who have the roughout steer chore jacket, how are you liking it? Do you find it pretty versatile to wear? And did you go true to size or size up one? I'd originally been looking at suede chore jackets but this one looks pretty nice, I like that it's not quite as long as standard for some chore jackets.

                              I also got my jacket, but I'm currently away on a business trip and it's going straight into the closet.
                              Pictures to follow!

                                        @Kjunx size 46 Y’2 (they run a size small) and XXL vest is the sizing of mine. I could do an XL vest for a trimmer fit.

                                            @natefreezy tj was spot on in his comparison. The big buck feels more like velvet or moleskin in the nicest chamois kind of material ever. It has a surprising stiffness to it and being unlined it wears much more like a shirt if sized that way. Especially in how it's cut in the shoulders.

                                            The y2 deer is thick, luxurious, soft, but hard faced like a "regular" leather since its face isn't split. It wears more like a jacket than a shirt and is instantly soft and pliable. It has a significant weight to it unlike the big buck so it drapes like a heavy IH hoodie.

                                            They're very different. One is a shirt that has jacket tendencies and the other is a jacket with shirt curiosity. Sorry for the stupid comparison. If you want a shirt, definitely get one of the big bucks. If you want a shacket/jacket then the y2 might be the one to consider first. Also know that the y2 buck is lined and has an internal pocket which may be a benefit depending on what you want.

                                            Hope that helps @natefreezy
