Our military CPO style shirt, constructed from a 7oz reactive dyed back sateen fabric. Back sateen is made by twisting thinner yarns of long-staple cotton, which results in both a softer touch and substantial weight increase when compared to standard cotton.

The idea of an olive shirt with pockets and not crazy heavy (hot climate) appeals to me.
Might wait for this instead of a IHSH-307-OLV.
So far I've been getting "sulphur-dyed" as I want to work to earn fades and character.
This is "reactive dyed", does that mean it won't fade at all, ever? Or will it still fade, but super super slow, thus some eventual fade at high wear areas like the pocket openings?

Fading will be minimal. Reactive dying chemically bonds the pigment molecules to the textile's molecules. It's not impossible to dislodge the pigment molecules again, but you'd need to input a decent amount of energy into the system to break those chemical bonds apart, much more than could be achieved on a wash or just by abrasion incurred during normal wear.
If you want you clothes to develop noticeable patina and fades at abrasion points, then go for clothes that have been sulphur dyed.

Nice and light, fabric is a tad smoother on the inside. I think the buttons and button down chest pockets work well with the military green colour. I’ve been wanting something in this colour! First time having hand pockets on a shirt, will be quite nice depending on the pant pockets.
I think it looks weird with hands in the pockets though, I think it’s due to the front and back being so long compared to the sides (might be able to tailor that … or maybe I’m over thinking this and staring at it too much, first shirt with pockets after all):
Trying out different sleeve folds, here my left sleeve has one fold and right has two folds. Note there is no second button on the sleeve placket:
Now for pushed up sleeves, here my left sleeve has two folds and sleeve pushed up, my right sleeves is three folds:
Opened with two folds on each sleeve and not pushed up, looks decent:

IMO an excellent fit. Perhaps wait with possible alterations for a while. The length may shrink a little with the first few washes. Also, CPO style (shirt with pockets) may be a bit unusual in the beginning, but at least for me very much appreciated now. I'm wearing most of my IH shirts like you do on the last pic, open or closed. Anyway, a great shirts that suits you well.
