I know it is a first world problem but I don‘t wanna destroy the denim of this wonderful 777-SLB jeans. Maybe you can give me an advise:
My jeans in size 34 is now a bit too wide and I would like to wash it with 60°C to shrink it. Is it harmful for the denim?
Thanks in advance for your help!

@Marc2706 There is no exact science to how the washing will impact the shrinkage and the denim. There will be people on here who regularly wash their items on 60 degrees out of preference. The higher temperature and agitation will likely result in more indigo loss in the wash, but shouldnt damage the denim per se if they are washed inside out, on their own and then removed upon completion to hang dry. Most people try and scale up the temperature on each wash to see if they can achieved any desired shrinkage. Do note, any area which is put under pressure with following wear will likely stretch back out over time.

As I've taken some pictures of these to put in a repair request, I thought I'd post them in here too.

A little under 2 years of fairly regular wear, rotating them with a few other pairs depending on the weather.

Any twill (even broken twill) will have inherent twist off the loom. Sanforisation reduces it, so too does"skewing" post weave. The only way to not get leg twist (in some degree), is to use a plain weave, then it ain't denim.....
