@T4920 i think you could make that size work pretty well with a layer over it.

The shoulder seams come down way too far off the shoulderfor the sleeves to be that short. And if you ever get held up at gunpoint your belly button will get cold when you put your hands up. It’s a strange cut.

Looks borderline little small, weird the back is kinda shorter looking. Maybe it will stretch little more for ya, but you can def can make it work. I got a vintage Russell(fits like this) use just to layer but that was like 15 bucks.

@Tago-Mago actually, turning it into a shortsleeve shirt isn’t half bad idea. I like the shortsleeve sweatshirts.

@Matt I thought that about the shoulders too, but it's described as a drop shoulder by Warehouse, so it's by design I guess? 🤷♂

I picked up this Norfolk jacket from Private White but the cut is a little out of my comfort zone. This is a 5 which equates to a large, I could def not size down in the chest/lat area.

These are easy to button but the high waist still bit gets in the way of my guts, is that normal? Otherwise they are roomy and nice!

@Ile I have moved your fit check question to here. In my opinion they look big and you may need to size down, however you also mentioned that the rise may be an issue. The 1955’s are meant to sit higher on your waist and if they are uncomfortable for you, you may need to find a cut with a lower rise.

Iron Heart offers many different cuts with lower rises, one of which may fit your individual requirements better than the ones in your picture.

This cut comparison tool may be useful for you in deciding what cut works best. Pay specific attention to the rise and look for one’s lower than your current jeans.

Once again, fit is all subjective and you need to be comfortable.

They look a bit snug in the waist - the waistband looks to be stretching a bit, but otherwise I’d agree with @goosehd that they look generous everywhere else. The waist will stretch out a little though.

I’d also add to the comments on fit that sometimes the fit will be imperfect - if you’re more comfortable with a roomy top block you may have to deal with the way they hang not being exactly as you may want it. It happens to me on some straight fits, even without a high rise.

Being used i don't think that really matters. Maybe your waist measurement is bigger than your hips? That will cause what you are experiencing. Nevertheless they will stretch some in the waist with wear.
