@Matt The smell of salt in the air and the breeze off the ocean is cathartic for me. I'm glad that you're enjoying it and look forward to your adventures.
That does sound nice except Baltimore is on the Patapsco River. A lot of people think it’s an Atlantic harbor or even a Chesapeake Bay inlet but it’s actually a river. I certainly wouldn’t faultanyone for not knowing that.
There’s no shortage of river crabs. I personally would not eat them. The harbor was polluted with heavy metals from the port and run off from the Jones Falls for a hundred years. Oysters on the other hand…
@Matt y'know dude, i had never really given that the thought it deserved. Always considered it a "chesapeake bay inlet" but you're darn right. Then again, I went to school in PG and reside in Southern MD now with the rest of the uneducated.
Nice fest and looking good @Matt. Just wondering, is it allowed to drink alcohol in public where you live? IMO it can make public life much more pleasant.
Only allowed at festivals where the streets are closed off. In the past it’s been confined to beer gardens but I think when COVID opened up street patios it must have opened up restricted street drinking as well.
