@yannis no shit? I had an apartment in Bel Air in 2000. I used to ride my bike up Harford Rd all the time.

We settled yesterday after a whirlwind fuckjob of a closing courtesy of the mortgage company. It’s now officially ours. Last night we waked to the bar around the corner for beers then we walked down the street to an ice cream shop all while the kids sat in their rooms with the dog. It was perfect.

@Matt The smell of salt in the air and the breeze off the ocean is cathartic for me. I'm glad that you're enjoying it and look forward to your adventures.

That does sound nice except Baltimore is on the Patapsco River. A lot of people think it’s an Atlantic harbor or even a Chesapeake Bay inlet but it’s actually a river. I certainly wouldn’t faultanyone for not knowing that.

@Matt …so there would be brackish waters and you could catch crabs. Then again, you could probably catch crabs in multiple areas of Baltimore… 🙂

There’s no shortage of river crabs. I personally would not eat them. The harbor was polluted with heavy metals from the port and run off from the Jones Falls for a hundred years. Oysters on the other hand…
