I carefully positioned a large bucket below it, I managed to knock it off with a broom from the safety of the ladder so I could make a quick getaway if any wasps did come out. None did so must of been totally empty

Stopover in Revelstoke on the way back west. Smokey from forest fires the last two days, so not much mountains visible on yesterdays drive through Banff, YoHo and Glacier national parks. Had a quick look this morning at the mighty Columbia River on its way south and then into the Pacific.
