@Tobi Istria is absolutely wonderful. Your pics take me back to an exceptional month I spent wandering the region.

Sashiko Monday.. Long time I’ve not done Sashiko. But the 21Oz is asking for it.

            Use it or lose it.

I am going fishing in Portugal next week. I was supposed to be going to Oman, but, you know, the gift just keeps on giving.

I will be fishing in a national park with zero mobile coverage. It is very remote and there are no paved roads. So I need realtime satellite views to show me where I am and where the tracks lead to.

So I have Makita powered SAKURA Starlink Mini. We can use that in the car.

This post was sent courtesy of Makita....

                    Sounds great.

We are going to the the Menai straight in Anglesey this year after the Sea Bass.

Not as nice as Portugal obviously 😅

Well, the fish are big, but they are bloody difficult to catch.

I have been twice before, and had 2 hits, but no fish. I think that this was because you have to go out along way over rocks and gullies to get to the holding water, and I was effectively fishing on my own, so always went on a falling tide, so I would not get stranded. Falling tide's yield few fish there, so this time we'll fish the rising tide.

I have a wetsuit, studded boots, a life jacket and a grappling hook. Also, I am fishing with strong guys, so we can look out for each other.I am way better prepared

@wjw Enjoy, the first years of baseball are so fun and funny. Kids running everywhere and doing any random thing. We're gearing up for 8u baseball and t-ball softball in two weeks over here. I'm coaching both teams because its really hard for me to stay on the sidelines 😆

@jdwaid I feel ya, it is hard to stay on the sidelines. Thinking coaching may be down the road for myself as well. That's a full plate coaching both. And yes very fun, and funny. At one point during the game the other team was all in a third of the field for the "inning", all in the only shade. And at the end the coaches asked if they wanted another "inning" and about 2/3 of the kids yelled no. But they all had a blast for 50min
