@Aetas correct. There are six of these granite monoliths with industrially bored holes. The idea about the whistling wind was better in theory than in practice.

I stopped by my local denim repair shop yesterday, Dallas Denim Repair. I thought this was super cool so I had to brag on them. The owner made his own take on the Type 1 and won a blue ribbon at the Texas State Fair! This one was Cone Denim, but he decided to start taking orders and is making them for customers now out of Japanese selvage.
