Just finished my 66 bike ride for St Michael's hospice on a very hot day, absolutely shattered!!

Thanks @marlin, it was tough.  It took 4 hours 30 minutes.  The furthest I had cycled previously was 12 miles so maybe should have put more training in but it was a great day

It's indeed a great tour!

But I do not care at all about the tunnels and other WW I relicts in the dolomites, to me they are disturbing. Of course I respect all that and it's part of the history, no question! Back in the days they had their propose and have been necessary and a great advantage. It is also amazing how they where able to create such tunnels in such a environment. But as for today, for me personal, they take a bit from the "nature" feeling I'am looking at a beautiful area like the dolomites.

But I'am aware that a true seasoned climber might say the same for via ferratas in general, they are not natural either.

Changed location to lago di como. Quite a culture shock but i guess the view makes up for the lack of mountains.

Gravedona?.. Lago di Como is my favourite place on earth… Go to Varenna and take the ferry to Bellagio...

@Seul yes, we're definitely going to do that. We're staying in Argegno which is really lovely and not as crowded or hip.


@Matty123 ok, rather lack of dolomites and chance to hike. This part of the trip is hers and you can't deny the pregnancy any more
