                      WOW I had no clue OD's turn out like the pics in the shop.  I thought they stayed relatively dark blue/black

                        I am pretty sure the pair in the shop was one which the owner used a spray bottle or some sort of dampening technique to achieve such crisp combs. Just so there is no confusion.

                                      MikeC you very well could be right.  It really looked like that thread was picking up the OD.  Maybe I'm seeing things.  This was never a big concern of mine.  More a random thought that came to mind.
