When you chain-stitch to a shorter length on the OD's do you do anything different to the thread?  As in, does it look odd with a bright new hem?  A strange question I'm sure but randomly popped into my mind today.

I think I only have one pair of 28 coming in.  So lucky you, you can have the largest and the smallest…

I'a a little blurred, recently, so only now I understand…
But with a pair arriving and two others that are already here, I could choose between 3, if it were possible!

@JCar2666: don't worry, I already have a few hemmed jeans from G, and I'm going to have another one! The downside of hemmed jeans is that you can't change or return them if you fail the size.

I'm not at all worried about G's hemming skills.  He's looks like he know plenty well what he's doing from his video.  I was just curious if he did anything different when hemming over dyed jeans.  Hence the original hem getting over dyed and the new hem not.

Yes G hemmed my SB dark thread outside yellow inside. He does a fantastic job. You need not worry.

JCarr, I'm pretty sure the thread is poly cotton, so it doesn't take up the overdye anyways.

I am pretty sure the pair in the shop was one which the owner used a spray bottle or some sort of dampening technique to achieve such crisp combs. Just so there is no confusion.
