It is not 2 up from your normal size, it is 2 up from the tag size, that is a something completely different....Trust the measurements.

You will possibly get a little stretch with wear. I never do with canvas or any other plain weave, which is one of the reasons sails used to be made out of canvas, stretch is bad in what is basically a well designed wing.

Others claim to get stretch, i think it is highly unlikley that they get anything significant.

Do NOT worry about Tag size. Its irrelevant. Measurements is what matters.

Thanks for the input. Measured my existing jeans and ordered from Rivet & Hide — they had a IH-666D in size 36 in stock.Followed your advice and went by measurements rather than tag size. Fingers crossed on the fit 🫰
