IHSH-452-CAM - Ultra Heavy Flannel Work Overshirt - Overdyed Camel
-
This one is growing on me.
-
@SKT I entered a lottery last month for our local hospital foundation where the first place was a new corvette or a 50/50 draw which ended up around $28,000…fingers crossed and hopes were high. Neither came to fruition but one could dream.
The money to buy more clothes or the vette to look good whilst wearing them.

-
I agree "the national lottery" or whatever it's called in other parts of the world is stupid, but one from a local hospital foundation is for a good cause and I think is good even if the odds are terrible, at least you did something for the cause! @goosehd
-
@Jord we’ve had national lotteries here get over 1 billion dollars. That’s when my statistically stupid self wins out and I always buy a ticket because I figure somebody has to win, might as well be me
Edit to state the obvious…the “might as well be me” part has never come to fruition

-
@SKT I feel ya, I have an aunt that buys us tickets and puts them in Christmas crackers for us to pull on Christmas... It's all fun, I think scratch cards are the devil and play on people that aren't doing well financially.
Sorry to go off topic, I want this shirt

-
This seems so different than my other winter shirts and that's an awesome thing.
-
Yeah I gotta admit, I falling in love w this one

Quick update on the 452, as the production model differs from the sample version previously shown here and in the FW26 preview video.
Now that the full run has arrived at IHUK, we can share some details and offer a comparison. Haraki-san wasn’t satisfied with the fabric finish during production, so the decision was made to overdye the shirts. Using the same colour dye as the original fabric has resulted in an overall richer shade on the face, with more definition in the twill pattern, while the reverse is now much darker. In terms of hand feel, the fabric seems slightly less crisp than a regular UHF, but is still just as hefty.
As far as I’m aware, we’ve never overdyed a solid UHF colourway before — so while this wasn’t originally planned, it does make this one quite unique!
Here are a couple of quick iphone pics for comparison; more colour-accurate studio shots will be online before the shirts go live.

@SamD nice!
It now looks a bit like duck? But might be the light - Can you side by side?
Will the overdue fade?
-
@will6er Even with the overdyeing, I wouldn’t say it’s anywhere near as dark as duck. The fabric still has the vibrant golden hue of the sample — it’s just a lot richer now. The guys will be taking colour-accurate studio photos in the coming days; it’ll be easier to compare against other fabrics when those are done.
As this is the first time we've tried this, it’s difficult to predict fading tbh. As with all overdyed fabrics, the top dye will not penetrate as deeply as yarn dyeing. But because it’s overdyed the same colour tone as the original yarns, any fading probably won't be hugely noticeable. It’s likely the colour will lighten slightly overall with repeated washing, but I wouldn’t expect dramatic contrasts to develop.

I already wanted it, geez guys stop trying so hard
