Do you have a piece of clothing that doesn’t fit anymore, but you still love it? I did. This brilliant IH chambray had been hemmed too short by mistake, and for a while it was just hanging in my closet, looking a little sad. But why get rid of something you love just because it doesn’t quite work anymore? I discovered this Norwegian brand with a beautiful idea: instead of throwing away clothes that are damaged, unwanted or no longer quite right, they give them a new life through repair, reconstruction and craftsmanship. They took fabric from the back of my shirt, extended it to the right length, and added this beautiful handwoven piece from Peru. Which was pretty dope. I love the idea that our clothes don’t have to be perfect. They can be repaired, changed, patched, worn, loved and made into something even more personal. Like the fade community of Indigo Invitatinoal.

To me, this is the real beauty of clothes: they get better when they carry a little bit of our lives with them.
