Typically seasonal releases are dreamt up (dreamed up for our US cousins) by Haraki, though he is asking for and more input from Alex, partly because International sales far outweigh Japan domestic sales.
Non seasonal releases are typically initiated by IHUK, and done to fill needs that we see in the International marketplace, and to try and keep product dropping throughout the year.

On the practical side, I am very excited to have a jacket that covers most full-length IH shirts. The number of pockets (7 I've found so far) they fit into this thing without it feeling bulky is an achievement!
