@Brandrea Honestly No and I know this goes against this forum's unwritten enabling code.
It's basically the exact same experience as you already know. The only difference is the minimal amount of internal brushing and that they are now pre-washed to remove most shrink. That's it.
As for me, I just wanted an other colour. Originally burgundy but then I saw Sumi and got that instead. It's just as comfortable indoors / outside as last year's.
Now what is totally worth getting this year (even if you have previous versions) are their Double heavyweight sweatpants. They have drawstrings on the ankle cuffs now so they're not as baggy / floppy as before. That was a dealbreaker for me last year. Fuck it, I'm going to pick those up now hahaha -
thanks for the colour man. I think I’ll hold off on the hoodie then. Now you’ve got me thinking sweat pants though ….

@Brandrea I ended up getting them in Sumi black. I’m so boring, I know!!! Tried the racing green and burgundy and just liked Sumi best. Good thing I tried them on too because I ended up with medium instead of large. They just fit better even though I have a 34” waist.
Gerhard is the best! One thing I learned is to remember to “confirm payment” in the green P parking app even though you already set the amount of time and agree to the amount you’ll be paying.
Because agreeing twice is totally necessary..

.Sumi is a great colour way … especially since they re-did the color. The first couple of batches had an annoying green tint to it.
Glad you like the sweat pants … I’m thinking of picking up a pair of the super looper pants.

@Brandrea Sumi is awesome!! As a bonus, now I have a matching double heavyweight set.
Superlooper are definitely great too. I love mine and with that one I’m an actual size large.@WithBongInHand I would try them on first if you can. The large still fit but were really baggy and heavy enough to need the waist strap tied up. Otherwise they would ride down my waist.

@WithBongInHand the hoodie is the same situation for me at least. In Double heavyweight, I’m a medium but Superlooper I’m a large.

@Chibs How are the fit and measurements with the newer one washed version compared to the previous ones? I got a dune zip hoodie in medium last year and it fits me a bit oversized. I haven't washed it yet and heard that it can shrink quite a bit if needed. I was thinking of sizing down to a small, but wasn't sure if the newer one washed versions were a bit smaller in reality. Looking at the measurements on their site, the measurements look the same as the previous non-washed version so wasn't sure at what point in the process the washing was occurring (i.e. fabric stage vs post-production).

@Nobunaga my new Sumi medium is actually a bit larger than my rust one from last year in the same size. I’m a nerd so I measured them both when I got home. 🫨
Been working at my desk all day in the double heavyweight set.

@Chibs Thanks! This is really helpful. I'm definitely gonna size down then. The all sumi set looks great. I was initially gonna grab a couple of sweatpants in the fleeced foxfibre when they drop but now I'm thinking about grabbing at least a pair in the double heavyweight. I have superlooper sweatpants and love them so definitely want to try the other fabrics/weights.

@Nobunaga happy to help. The souperlooper feel closer in weight to regular joggers. The Double heavyweight feel waaaaay heavier in such a good way. Definitely recommend trying a pair.
