Does anyone have any insight into the waist sizing on this new batch? I reached out to Franklin & Poe to confirm their sizing because their chart is a full 2 sizes off from the IH chart on a 32in. waist, and they said they pulled a few pairs and confirmed that their size 34 matches closest to 32" (whereas size 32 matches closest to 32" on IHUK). I thought it might be a difference in the way they measure, but the orientation of the pants alone wouldn't create a such a drastic difference in waist sizes, maybe .75" at most.
Any ideas on what might be happening here? I have store credit with F&P, which is why I'm not just ordering from IHUK directly.

@indigo_fades I’ve seen stuff like this before. Just buy whatever size that works for you based on IHUKs measurements. They send all the stuff to F&P anyways. Selfedge is like this too.

@indigo_fades Find a retailer’s page for how they measure and compare it to IHUK. There may be a slight variation in how they are measured and is often the case.

@Choko is completely correct and I normally default to IHUK’s method and posted measurements.

Ordered my first pair of 888, missed having some OD and 21oz in the closet. Hope they fit, because I decided to get them hemmed right away

@FlavourFade sames. i opted for the largest W35 they had and they found a 35.2" (34.8" listed). my best fitting 634 21oz have a waist of 36" measured IHUK. i should be good to go with the higher rise and some stretch.
