Very interested in these pairs! Would owners of these say they are rather soft and breathable for its weight?

I own the XHSib 666 and want a pair I can rotate with that’s lighter but not too light. Would like a denim that’s softer and not as warm
As the XHSib.
Wonder if these 18oz vintage could be a solid contender for me?

@mecken88 Very solid contender. It’s a really nice denim.

@mecken88 they will have a crispier feel than the XHSib, but not overly so. The XHSib feels like sweatpants with time and wear, which the 18oz will never feel that soft.

As to breathability, 18oz is one of my favourites. The only 2 denims that I think breath better are the new 16oz and the 16oz slubs.

Edit: the 17n are good too.

@mecken88 I can only second what @goosehd has written. They are excellent „warm weather“ trousers, much more so than the XHSib.

Iv been through an idea to try something in that weight range, or jump down to the 14oz alternative. But the 18oz really intrigued me🫶

@mecken88 this will be more wearable in warmer temps than the 14oz because the 14oz is a tighter weave
