Skipped work for a mental health day

Found a plum tree in a hedgerow. Picked up 500gms from the floor, was wondering how on earth I was going to make jam with that small amount. Then Boom, the pub we ended up (which only takes cash - it's a little old school) was selling 2kg bags for a fiver.

No, it shot it's bolt last year, and was absolutely knackered, so I very hard pruned it in the Spring and took all the bad wood out of it.

It has recovered remarkably well, I think next year will be a goodie......
