Iron Heart Japan - The Future

[WhiskeySandwich]

Awesome for everyone! This move seems both logically and sentimentally ideal. Very exciting! I’m super happy for all involved and I know IH is in the best of hands.

[Alex]

Thanks again everyone!

[Brandrea]

@Chibs That would be epic … and a problem for my wallet

I’m a little late to the party but I think I speak for a lot of folks in that this is def the direction we’ve wanted for IronHeart. Congrats and thank you to G&P and Alex for all of your hard work and continued dedication to this brand that is somehow more than just a bunch of clothes.

[clutchdealer]

Congratulations Alex!! Haraki couldn’t have picked a better El Jefe to take Iron Heart into the future and beyond.

[TJA_Crew]

Congrats!!!

[Damocles]

Sorry, I’ve only discovered the brand last year but is Works Inc and Ironheart different companies ? Just curious and of course, congratulations to Alex.

[Giles]

Yes they are. Iron Heart Japan is the distribution arm, physical shops and web shop. Works in designs and makes the stuff....

[eijieturbo]

@Giles best of luck to you and team

[Giles]

Thank you. But it is @Alex 's team now

I read an interview from at least 10 years ago that there were overtures to buy the mills and factories that make Iron Heart. Just curious what happened

[Giles]

Dont think that interview was with me or Haraki …..

Dug through my history, it's this one: https://www.heddels.com/2014/06/iron-hearts-two-bosses-shinichi-haraki-giles-padmore/

Wow, well done........

H tried to build a shirting factory (well documented on these pages somewhere),l it was a disaster. So it isn't happening again.

[Dmart]

Congrats Alex! This is great news for you and the brand!

[Mr Jules]
