Me personally, I’d stick with my normal CPO size and go with the 4XL. It has the smaller chest measurement and is a little slimmer through the waist. Even though the shoulders are listed at 22”, I don’t think the math works out to where the sleeves will actually feel that long. Looking at the rest of the measurements, I think it’ll wear pretty similar to my other 4XL CPOs.

What are the odds that a hot wash and potentially some hot dry time would shrink shoulders in this?

@northsouthdenimguy after measuring the untucked and the SExIH CPO they're both 24" p2p on the dot. Slightly big in the chest. So I think a 24" Western will fit well.

@dirtyframer it's not an overdyed piece so there will be "some" shrink to be had but per the website it's been sanforized and aggressively laundered to remove most already.

But take all this with a grain of salt. For me, the number one thing is the chest. If it fits there, usually everything else kind of falls into place. The sleeves or shoulders might be a touch long or a little big, but if I can’t snap it(chest) I’m not wearing it.

Tried it on in the store and found it too tight around the elbow area of the arms unfortunately. Also the shoulders were too wide. Otherwise it's a super nice cpo. So just be aware that the fit is quite different from a regular western shirt.

@northsouthdenimguy Right there with you. P2P is the measurement I pay attention to most. I want this even looser than usual because I'd like to layer it. My 3X untucked is more like a shirt than a shacket. (someone snagged all the 4Xs before I could that time).

I discovered IH about a month after this sold out. I quickly became obsessed with this shirt, as well as the 389. I spent the next year obsessively trying to get my hands on each of them. About a year into hunting I found the 389, but always struck out on this one. It’s been so fun to be involved in this thread and see how overjoyed everyone was when the restock announcement happened. Pretty wild that today is the day!
