IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black

QUESTION for folks who have this or other IH CPO: how much do you size up if you want to be able to wear like a flannel or thin hoodie under it? I'm clear on my ideal IH shirt measurements for wearing over a t-shirt. Do I add an inch, inch and a half to the chest, shoulders and opening? Also I've read the arms can be pretty tight on these western CPOs. Better to skip layering? I'd planned on giving myself some extra room on this one because my others are quite snug. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

@dwils All you can get is information on a run of that shirt that might possible fit differently than the upcoming batch. I'm not sure how useful that might be.

@RobeOfTheMagi thanks, I know the measurements for this run have not yet been shared. I’m just curious about how much people add in to allow for layering. Hoping that’ll help me pick the right size once measurements are shared. Psyched for this one

@dwils if you want to wear it as a jacket, measure your best fitting jacket and use those measurements. If a shirt, then the best shirt.

and to add, play around with your jacket and use different layering combos; flannel, hoodies, t-shirt, etc. and ask yourself how do you imagine wearing the CPO the most.

Find that combo and then use the jacket as your guide for measurements for picking the right CPO.

@jmp777 never touched the slubby cpo but the 409 is pretty rigid and has to be broken in, so should be two different animals

Yeah, my cpood was somewhat rigid, but I broke it in pretty quickly. I guess the tighter weave on the 409 and it not being overdyed will give it a much more rigid feel. Would you say this ever gets close to the 292 in terms of feel?

@jmp777 no it is much stiffer than the 292 especially at the beginning totally different in my opinion, it evolves much faster, I think this fabric is difficult to compare to others of the same weight or a similar weight

I always go up one size for my normal measurements when using for layering a hoodie underneath my Iron Heart CPO's

Have read this post a lot, understand that a restock is fairly close. Now to the question, will the restock CPO have the gussets on the side that the sample had? Or will it be like the last run?

Is the color lighter than last batch or is it maybe the direct sunlight of these particular pictures ?

@Slash can't say as we don't have an original. The sleeve one was in the door of the office, the gusset/hem under the office lights so I would judge the colour off of the studio photos which are 100% colour accurate, once they have been updated. Should be by Thurs
