Won’t be a different pattern, measurements may come up differently never the less. Lots of factors at play.

There seems to be a pretty big difference for sizes 32 and 33 at least, not sure about the other sizes though (since they’re usually not relevant to me, 😁). But I’m aware there are lots of factors affecting how they come out.

@V-P looking at the measurements across the board and they all look pretty proportional to each other. Which measurement are you speaking about?

The 634 pattern is the 634 pattern. It’s Iron Heart’s oldest. No fiddling with that.

Just the fact that the published measurements are based on an average of a few pairs from each size in each batch can skew things somewhat, with there being any actual real change. That’s before you get to the the variables that may actually affect dims.

@goosehd Compared to the previous batch (with measurements now replaced with the new batch measurements), at least sizes 32 and 33 seem to differ a bit regarding at least back rise and hem width (with the current measurements indicating a lower rise and slightly wider hem). I may be wrong, I checked the measurements a couple days ago so I may remember incorrectly.

@V-P then it goes back to @neph93 comment about variability. There will always be some between each run, but the pattern will remain the same.

@V-P and you have hit on a good point that needs reiterated: Always trust the measurements, always. It doesn't matter if the last pair of jeans you bought were tag size 33 from the last run as every run may be slightly different. The measurements are key to getting a pair of jeans that fit the way you want.

I have said many times that I have tag size 33, 34, 35, and 36 and they all fit about the same.

Measurements look pretty good. Been getting into the 634 cut over recent times, and the 18oz denim seems to have a fair bit of character. Might end up with a pair.

@RocknRoll It’s a great summer denim. I have a pair 18oz 777 but I’m thinking it would be nice with a slightly more relaxed fit.

@Giles @Tago-Mago @goosehd Looking for some sizing advice:

I meausure my best jeans to following size:

                                  Waist: 34,3 inch
                                  Front rise: 10
                                  Rear rise: 14,7
                                  Thigh: 12,5
                                  Knee: 8,3
                                  Hem: 7
                                  Inseam: 34,1

I can see on the web that the waist will stretch out approximately 1" with wear. All other dimensions that are put under pressure will stretch proportionally to the waist.
In my best jeans i measure waist to be 34,3.
Im a little bit confuse here, should i go for 33 or 32, because waist will stretch out 1"?

Which size would you recommend- so i can be closer to my ideal measurement?

@Luke_is_back Personally I would go with tag size 33 with a measurement of 34 inch. The most i normally like to go under on a pair of jeans is .5 inch under my ideal as I find that is my sweet spot. If it stretches more, I wear a belt (although I wear a belt most of the time).

…I say this in reference to this denim only. Other denim and I may do more or less.
