Just wondering.. I know we have chinos already, but I was wondering if it would be possible to come out with heavier versions? I can't wear jeans at school and I have always wanted a pair of heavyweight chinos to wear. If I wear Duck pants I will get in trouble and I wish I could wear them.

Every school in New Zealand has uniform so can't wear jeans. Come to think of it I haven't come across a school in any county that doesn't have uniform

I guess I wouldn't get in trouble for wearing black duck pants, but I would rather get the brown  I think they would also be a bit baggy for my tastes… I was thinking of the 702's but the only problem is is that I would need to feel the material on those before I bought, just an idea for a heavy pair of chinos

No worries, I unfortunately (maybe fortunately in the long run), go to a private school - Lutheran private school to be exact. The irony is that I am a jew in a Lutheran private school. I mean they used to not have uniform (way before I came) but obviously the girls ruined it since they had to wear the shortest clothing they could find. They have been more lenient on the rules and I don't follow the dress code but I don't wear jeans to school even though I would LOVE to. It sucks

Oh, it has been done before. Some kids get caught, and some really lucky ones don't. See we have this asshole teacher who's job is to teach science and write kids up out of dress code. So if he catches you, not only do you have to BUY a pair of uniform pants, but go to detention and you won't ever see those pants you wore again. So… anotherwards they throw them out.

haha, why thank you! Well, I wish some people had better taste… Its like they would rather throw the $300 away on some horrible distressed denim, while we have great brands (ie. IH) that make great durable clothing that lasts. I SMH at my friends. I have actually tried to explain the whole thing behind raw denim and such, all they do is tease me then  :-[, but one day... I will have my revenge...hehehe

Lax, you mentioned that a friend pee'd on your jeans once?  I wouldn't try to convince them of high end raw denim as they are going to be huge haters.  I enjoy my jeans without a word and nobody really notices.  especially with my sassy overdyed selvage on my bbods!
