IHSB-BIGBUCK-NAT - Deerskin Western Shirt 'The Big Buck' - Natural
-
Was lucky enough to have the second sample come my way. It saw at least 75 wears this winter and spring before it heated up too much in Atlanta. Who knows maybe was 100. Was all the rage in my office, since I was wearing it almost daily. For those new to big bucks. Sleeve length comes up quite a bit after wear. Even a small rain will “tighten” it up. Got caught a little on one day and felt more like a second skin layer. Def picks up dirt. Didnt find it picking up a ton of indigo unlike other things I own. I have zero plans on washing mine but will likely condition it at some point this fall before I pick wearing it back up. Beautiful piece, enough has been said about the big bucks. Look forward to seeing how others will evolve. I’m not the best at taking pictures but best I got for everyone.

These are so epic. May buy a lottery ticket tonight
. I ordered a 6" at subway and they accidentally made it a footlong so..... It's my lucky day -
Whats the stretch factor for the big buck? I understand the sleeves will come in a bit and if it gets wet it can come in a lot. Curious what to expect in terms of stretch in the chest and waist dimensions.

@jdwaid limited from my experience. I find it simply morphs to the skin. I never layered under it. I could see a world where layering could stretch it but I wouldn’t bank on it fully.
Same thing with my deer skin gloves. I found them to shrink and morph more to my hands over time. They become more like second skin.

@jfk1117 appreciate the insights, thanks.

Only live once right? So I can only be murdered once also ...

@CosmoSix5 fortune favours the brave

The sleeves in the other colours look a lot on the long side. For those already that have this, how much do they ride up after wear?
-
So my traditional IH Western size? I'll probably never wear this without a tee at a minimum
-
@CosmoSix5 me neither. Would be some large and frequent dry cleaning bills if you do!
-
@Gavin666 - see my post above. Mine came up substantially over time with wear. It is close to completely inline now and I was originally “swimming”. Will measure exact when I get home for you.
