Got these today, my first ever IH jeans, and boy was I impressed. I thought I had some decent jeans, but these are next level. Just feel fantastic. Can't wait to wear them out and about....
-
@Stringthing75 How many you been around 3 years and not got any IH jeans?! Well you're in for a treat and got a great pair, 21oz is badass and so is the 634 cut. Enjoy them

@Jord Good question! Well I had a couple of pairs of “decent” jeans from other brands, then so many of the styles on here were always sold out in my size by time I looked, and I was focussing more on buying shirts as my logic was jeans will always get restocked eventually but a lot of the shirts are more one offs and once they’re gone they’re gone. So many awesome shirts coming out I just kept buying them haha.
But now I am about 20 shirts deep lol and came to the same realisation as everyone else probably does that the shirts just keep on coming and it’ll never be “done” lol, so I better grab a pair of jeans as soon as they become available.
So I guess I transition to jeans now!Plus I’ve lost about 43lb stone since January so I wanted to be sure I was where I had to be weight/body wise before I took the plunge. Tried them on and once I get a tiny bit more ‘give’ in the waist I am confident these will be absolutely spot on. Felt great, really pleased with them.
You know people go on about the price of things, and the only question you can ever really ask yourself is “am I glad I bought them” and the answer is always YES.

@Stringthing75 I understand, the shirts are next level too and I have a mighty collection myself!
Congrats on the weight loss as well

On the fence with these. I believe that I have my correct size dialed in but the length is way longer than I normally would go for. I'm usually a 38x34 or 36x34. 38 waist looks to be the correct measurements for me but they have a 37" inseam. Order them hemmed (no additional cost) but I can't return or have them hemmed later but have to pay out of pocket (I'd probably have Railcar to the hem).
-
@rahrah12 I checked what size inseam one of the pics in the videos on instagram was and just asked for mine to be hemmed the same.
Basically seen a look I liked, found the hemming size and got it. Worked out well for me.
It sounds like you know you're looking for a 34 so just get them hemmed at that upfront? saves a lot of hassle I think. -
I just measure a pair of my existing jeans and get the new pair hemmed to that length. I know there is a load of discussion about the rise making a difference to inseam, well it may, but I don't bother taking that into account.
However I'm guessing if I only had a pair of these to measure, it would make a difference...

But I don't....

@Stringthing75 That's what I was leaning towards - going with my normal length or maybe .5" longer. Was on the fence about not being able to return or exchange if necessary. Thanks.
