It means he realized that there was a mistake in the sizing chart and got corrected so he apologized. It also means that we are all human and mistakes happen. It also means nobody is perfect. If the pants do not fit I am sure they will do right by the customer as they always do.

@Yoprst has your order been shipped already? If not, I would drop IHUK an email at shop@ironheart.co.uk and ask them to change your order to a 33. I am sure they will be able to accommodate this request

No it wasn't shipped yet. Not sure if size 33 has no measurements deviation. I always wonder where and when in the jeans industry size tag become meaning something else but it's own size in inches, i.e. 32 means 32", 33 means 33" etc.
Being back to the issue, all I need is the waist being as close to 32" as possible.

@Yoprst then I would email them with that exact information. I would also check the measurements on the tag 33 just to be sure. If they look better then I would ask for a change in tag size

@Yoprst it does not mean 32 tag size is 32 inches. Particularly in off the shelve mass produced jeans when a tag size 32 is vanity sized and could be an actual 34 if taking a measurement.

As has been stated numerous times with IH tag size are only a guide and always trust the measurements. Always.

Dear Yannis, you may have overlooked it, but my message was addressed to Alex. Are you Alex? Did he asked you to be his advocate? If the answers to both questions is "No", than can you kindly stop lecturing me on other people business? I'm grown up enough to handle my communications with other people by myself. There is no need in having a finger in every pie

I'm well aware that those times when tag size corresponded to the actual waist measurements (like vintage mass production from Big Three) are gone, as well as the fact that the bigest size deviations in denim industry concern asian markets, and that's exactly one of the reasons I prefer IH to other japaneese brands, cause IH is known being quite precise in the tag sizes.
Anyway, I'm sure that my issue will be resolved the best way possible, I just was unpleasantly surprised by that size chart changes at the last moment

So you asked a question for only Alex to respond and you chose to posted on the general forum for everybody to read but dare not respond. If that was the case a DM would be more appropriate. I mean you positioned yourself for me to read your nonsense but not respond. Just brilliant!
