Does anybody have an experience with the Kersey pilling?
I’ve just noticed one of the sleeves on mine has pilled quite a lot. It’s been worn a fair amount in the couple of months I’ve owned it. I haven’t washed it yet and am wondering if that’s the reason.

Do you do lots of desk work?
Is your desk made of sandpaper?

Sorry I'm no help. Have 2 kerseys and never seen this and I also work at a desk a lot.

Would have also guessed desk job. The faded elbows make it even more plausible.
I have similar fadings on flannels but not as pronounced tho.

Thanks for the replies @pechelman and @don_pipone.
I don’t have a desk job, but can see why you’d think so. Elbow wear is just from wearing and leaning on tables I guess.
I don’t wear the shirt for work at all. So it only gets worn casually. I’m all for fading and stuff, just not a huge fan of pilling. So I’m hoping somebody has some knowledge on the best way of removing it.

@pechelman I’m stumped as to the reason man. I like fades and general signs of wear, but I really dislike pilling and this is pretty pronounced.

@SiRockxx ah, I see. You must be sitting on tables quite a lot 😜
I use a lint shaver to get rid of pilling on my shirts. Works great.

@don_pipone Haha. Probably too many abrasive Pub tables 😂. Thanks for the tip man. I’m going to buy one of them now.

Also never seen that on any of my Kersey's, now I'm really curious as to what caused it!
