IHSH-208-IND - Indigo Kersey Western Shirt
-
@kojimastreets kersey + 295ib is a pretty cool combo
-
@Davids_denim it’s a fave! Actually surprisingly warm too. Good in between “jacket”
-
@kojimastreets great combo. I passed up on the black version of the 295 in the latest restock and very much regret that decision

-
@AdamJ haha we live and we learn! My 295 purchase was made after severely regretting missing the IHSH-409-IB. I've honestly contemplated adding pockets to my 295 just to get the same utility

Just picked up this shirt yesterday. I was right between sizes, but luckily had decided to go to Gosport, so was able to try on both S and XS. I went with the XS as it still just about fit over my Henley but didn’t look too big with a regular T Shirt. The fabric is just incredible and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it ages. Many thanks to @Freeman for the help and patience.

-
@Pinkpan looks like it’s coming along nicely man! That’s how I plan on washing mine too when the time comes.
-
Does anybody have an experience with the Kersey pilling?
I’ve just noticed one of the sleeves on mine has pilled quite a lot. It’s been worn a fair amount in the couple of months I’ve owned it. I haven’t washed it yet and am wondering if that’s the reason. -

Would have also guessed desk job. The faded elbows make it even more plausible.
I have similar fadings on flannels but not as pronounced tho. -
Thanks for the replies @pechelman and @don_pipone.
I don’t have a desk job, but can see why you’d think so. Elbow wear is just from wearing and leaning on tables I guess.
I don’t wear the shirt for work at all. So it only gets worn casually. I’m all for fading and stuff, just not a huge fan of pilling. So I’m hoping somebody has some knowledge on the best way of removing it. -
@pechelman I’m stumped as to the reason man. I like fades and general signs of wear, but I really dislike pilling and this is pretty pronounced.
-
@SiRockxx ah, I see. You must be sitting on tables quite a lot

I use a lint shaver to get rid of pilling on my shirts. Works great.

-
@don_pipone Haha. Probably too many abrasive Pub tables
. Thanks for the tip man. I’m going to buy one of them now. -
Also never seen that on any of my Kersey's, now I'm really curious as to what caused it!
