IH-745-ODG - 4oz Cotton/Nylon Baker Pants - Olive Drab Green
-
@Tago-Mago good call. Appreciate you
-
This will be my first pair of baker pants, and I’m trying to get a feel for the fit.
Would you say the cut is in any way comparable to something like the 888 (in terms of top block, rise, or overall silhouette)?
Also curious how you’d approach sizing/measurement comparison once specs are available.
Any input is highly appreciated—thanks, my denim brothers
-
@sabergirl thanks for your feedback — I completely forgot to mention my denim sisters, pardon me!
Let´s see what the measurements look like. I assume that they are much more flexible overall, so the material should be more stretchy than denim anyway, but maybe I´m completely wrong
-
I’m really looking forward to these the most of any of the pant releases.
I just hope they’ll land before our trip.
-
Same here. Need a good lightweight pant for the brutal NYC summers. Even my 14oz can get to be too much
-
@Dystopia the tight weave of the 14oz make them significantly hotter than my 21oz.
-
@JerkStore interesting. I never actually thought about that
-
@Dystopia @JerkStore I don’t think it’s just about denim weight—fit plays a huge role. The closer it sits to your skin, the hotter it feels. A looser cut lets the fabric breathe a lot more.

-
@EdH same here. But now at least I know the alert system works properly!
-
Mama-mia nice bottoms this season
-
It was a warm one today. Was sweating in my 738s 🥵… can’t wait for these

What's the difference between Baker pants and fatigue pants?
-
@dlrarmy here is a link to a similar question which may help: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/945573
-
@dlrarmy to my understanding, in the wider clothing world they are pretty much the same thing. Baker pants are a nickname for OG-107 fatigues, and when most people say fatigues they mean OG-107s.
-
“Technically speaking, fatigues are just a broad term that includes baker pants. Although some people would argue a baker pant is specifically a closer reproduction of the original OG-107 utility pant, whereas “fatigues” has become more of a general catch-all term over time.”

bakers are fatigues w front Pockets the shape of loaf of bread
