I saw Gojira at Brixton Academy for the Magma tour in 2017. Some muppet spilt a pint over the lighting desk and took out the light production. Joe was gutted and very apologetic to the crowd. He was clearly emotional and talked about how he wanted the show to be perfect for their first headline gig at Brixton. They then proceeded to burn the fucking place to the ground. It was an epic experience.

They are okay in the studio too, if you like that kind of thing.

Another example of why the BBC matters (particularly when it comes to music).

Gojira are supporting Metallica in London in July. I'm looking forward to witnessing new ears learning that the French do other things better than they play rugby.
