Managed to 'accidentally' ride the Muur van Geraardsbergen last week. To those who follow pro cycling: I apologize for disrespecting such a hallowed climb with my lack of preparation. To everyone else: it’s famous, it’s cobblestones, and it’s brutal.

Did a 60K gravel ride yesterday, cold and dry. Spring feels like it's just around the corner. -
A couple recent shots of my Trail Donkey 4.0

@Brock It's officially too cold now to ride here in the Hudson Valley, as I don't ride below 20F. Hopefully back to it in a couple weeks. Gotta get ready for the Natchuag Epic, 84 miles, 3/29: https://www.bikereg.com/73191

60K mud ride trough the 'Vlaamse Ardennen' yesterday.

@scarfmace Looks like fun

I just put together a 5 Day bike packing adventure around the west side of Mt. Hood.
Planned for early September…. Can’t wait!
It’s been too long since I’ve camped off the bike!
-

I’ve fitted new tires for the summer. While I’m still undecided on the tan-wall look versus the classic all-black, there’s feel like a smoother roll.
-
Tan looks great
-
@scarfmace can’t go wrong with that bike

-
@scarfmace tan wall and ti FTW!
-
That bike is sick AF! Looks too fast for me

The last gravel tour I did was the Oregon Cascades Volcanic Arc (OCVA) the route was built by the guys at OMTM.
It’s pretty epic! And we edited it in the start and tail end in order to end at or near home. I can’t believe I haven’t posted here about it… it’s an amazing route and one to have on your bucket list if you live in Oregon for sure!
