I went to see Gregg Deal of the Dead Pioneers giving a talk at a university in Cologne on Monday. That had a lasting impression on me. He'll be back in town with his band in March.

@hbg1 I've been fortunate enough to see Yob live a bunch of times. Always a great experience. First time I saw them was in maybe 2015, where I bought a vinyl pressing of Clearing the Path. My girlfriend (now wife) absconded with the record and got it signed by the band. Still the most prized record in my collection.

While I never met Mike in person, I've heard only good things about him... and a few years ago i came across this most wholesome interview.

This song is great, the rest album it is on unfortunately doesn't achieve the same level of catchiness.

I think Chapel of Disease are like that, but with Dire Straits
