@worn2fade it really is! I believe @Oaktavia posted some nice comparison shots with the 409 vs the 295ib, way back in this thread I believe. The 409 is almost a bit purplish some times, and dark when new. Are you going for one?

@Larkens with the restock coming in a few short months I’m not sure if I’d be able to grab it honestly since I’m pulling the trigger on the 888-XHSib. If I can swing it tho, I probably will. Would be dope to start this 409-IB & XHSib together!!

@worn2fade would be a great pair! I have a worn in 409, and a new pair of XHSib… so hard to compare. But my guess is that the XHS is darker even. Great combo, for sure!
By the way, the chances a 409 will come back a third round is very, very slim I’d think. If you are on the fence, this might be the only chance

@Larkens yeah even brand new the colors look very very different even though they’re both IB. I’m attracted to the 409 a lot though because the measurements look perfect.

Is there a way to search for something like this in the thread instead of just scrolling up and praying you don’t skip over it? When on this forum on my phone especially, it doesn’t let me scroll up appropriately. It skips by the hundreds sometimes— it’s pretty annoying.

@worn2fade maybe change to pages instead of infinite scrolling? To be honest (I’m probably not the only one) I re-read entire topics multiple times haha. Fun to see the first sample from fresh to post-wizard magic

@Larkens I’m down to do some reading but not with 1k+ responses haha. Maybe I’ll be more willing if I bring this up on my computer or something. But scrolling on my phone reading over hundreds of responses is not my jazz lol

@worn2fade changing to pagination is probably the best way to do it. Unfortunately, given how we handle images, there isn't a way to stop the thread moving, as the content loads followed by the images, which is the moving. In the older more or more popular threads I appreciate this can be daunting given the volume of posts

@kojimastreets if I got it right (otherwise I’m sure someone else will chime in with the correct or whole story) there was only fabric for the first run, a one off run. It sold out quick, as you can imagine.
But later there was some more fabric discovered, in some corner, somewhere, haha. That’s used for this upcoming restock.
And if my memory serves me right the 409 was never to be, the fabric was meant for jeans. A collab. But that fell through, giving us the wonderful CPO.

@Larkens if you search '19IB' in this forum you can see that the denim was used to produce jeans in 555, 666 & 777 cuts.

@hjl360 if I’m now mistaken, the 409 shirt and the 140 jacket uses the same fabric. But they are not 19ib (indigoXblack).
The 409 and 140 uses an Indigo rope dyed warp / grey weft fabric that to my knowledge hasn’t been used in jeans before from Iron Heart. But gladly correct me if I’m wrong🫶

@mecken88 the only difference I can see in the description for the jeans is that it says the weft is black sulphur dipped... not sure if that is different to black sulphur dyed

I have the 409 and 140, believe the 409 to be IB and the 140 IG - They are like brothers/ sisters, very similar but a tad different to my eye.
@hjl360 interesting, unsure about the fabric in the 409 and the other jeans. But as I said, his is how I remember it. Others now more about the details
