I picked this up from Self Edge and I'm impressed. Fit and finish is right up there with my best flannels. I'm normally not a fan of faded finishes on clothing, I would much rather do that myself. But at this price I was willing to risk it. I'm glad I did at $155 usd it was a steal.

When I'm not wearing my 634s, I wear the 747 from Stevenson. Phenomenal pair of jeans.

Nabbed these Carmels from SE this past week and really like them. I sized down to a 32 from 33 but mightve been able to fit into a 31. They are in the wash now to see if they have any shrink left in them.

Today I successfully fixed a snag on my SOC merino thermal. It was not as easy as the online videos make it look, but it can be done. The trick is grabbing that fine merino fiber so you can pull it through. I don't have a crochet hook or many sewing tools but eventually I got it threaded through the eye of a sewing needle so I could pull it through. Tied a knot on the inside so it doesn't move. Amazing piece BTW.

@68degreesorless glad it was fixable! I love those things — I have a grey one and a sort of dusty purple one. Ridiculously comfy.

This piece has an air of mystery to it, for me. I bought it new sometime around 2007-ish, while I was living in Japan. I can't imagine it was particularly expensive, cos I wouldn't have bought it if it was. The flannel is very thin, but it's held up to a lot of wear. The branding just says "STEVENSON," and the little product identification label inside has long since been washed to utter illegibility, so no hints there as to country of manufacture. The Stevenson Overall Co. website says the brand was relaunched in 2005, and I wonder whether they made some cheap-and-cheerful pieces like this while they were getting up and running. Or maybe it's an entirely different brand. No idea. But it continues to serve me well about two decades later, either way!
