@SourPower I like it. It was a present but I’d consider buying it for myself. The cherry is more obvious with tonic (and stronger than I expected). In a Negroni it comes through less clearly but adds depth.

Truth is I dont drink much these days, but my home bar is still well supplied with some exotic high ester rums from around the world. If you get the chance see if you can find some Hampden or Long Pond from Jamaica.
What little I can see of the menu looks very promising. What is that place?

@tenuin big fan of Hampden and Long Pond. Exceptional stuff! Did you know that Hampden sells their highest ester rums to be used for rum flavoring in the commercial food industry?

This bar is a favorite of the Wife and I, Jungle in Boulder, CO. Fantastic original and classic tiki cocktails, rums, and food.

while this bottle is still closed, I have tried two different DOKs. Once a different bottling of the one I have at the German Rum Fest, and another from the Hampden Marks collection. I can honestly say that high ABV DOK is the most intense flavour experience I have ever had. I can't even describe what it tastes like because it just hits your taste buds like a tidal wave.

What I currently have in the bar from Long Pond and Hampden.

And some other High Ester stuff from New Yarmouth, Rivers and La Reunion and Martinique.
