Pellworm, small island at the North West coast of Germany. It is only 37 km2 of size, the main inhabitants are sheep, lots of sea birds and some islanders. Completely surrounded by tidelands. The tide range is huge, the sea water around the island disappears completely every 6 hours. Not much tourism at least at that time of the year. A nice place for some quiet days for a timeout with the family.

@Giles The time between Christmas and New Year is just a void for me, so respect for going to the gym... I imagine the gym will be busy in January with people like myself signing up!

@Karol Wish I could wear my easy shorts right now, not a chance being stuck here in the UK!

we're spending the rest of the year on Texel, as usual. quite a bit larger than Pellworm, so definitely more sheep!
