This was my favorite F/W release until the surprise drop of the 101! Still a great piece but one flanell is enough (per season ) looking forward to all the fit pics

@FlavourFade This was my favourite of the season too and I've somehow ended up with the turqouise+watermelon and ordered this today!

I don't really wear denim shirts or anything, so all my flannels get plenty of wear as it's just my preference.

I think I'm good on big purchases until next year... (doh, that's only next month)

@vdoman9 I was gonna give you shit but then realised you're a new member, drop was 2h21minutes ago on the IHUK website from writing this comment- other retail partners have stock as you can find under the first post! (some might not have it on their website yet or not have received the physical stock yet)

@Jord I wear the denim tux all day as much as I can and only switch to the 422 or a flanell when wash day comes or my girlfriend complains about all the denim

I'm so annoyed by this release. I had it all planned out. I was NOT going to buy this. I even scheduled a meeting to take place during the drop time so I would have to wait almost an hour after release before I was able to even look. 59 minutes after the drop I hit the "Pay Now" button and now I have to figure out how to explain how I bought all 3 UHF releases for this season. Crap.
They're just too good. This F/W25 season has been killer. I'm just grateful I live at the beach so I don't need to buy all these awesome jackets coming out too. I'd be in real trouble then.

Hello! Im new here but would like advice on UHF please as im a bit confused.

Looking at the specs for the XXL size on Self Edge it looks like 18.5inches across the shoulder as per SE specs. For me in a business shirt or thin chambray shirt, 18.5 inches is fine.
I know they are not measuring the IH way, but i checked the shoulder of my CPO OD and also a IH denim jacket from them and across the shoulder SE have been correct. So the question would be when it comes to the UHF and how it sits and how thick it is, is 18.5 ok? Or do people generally size up further?
Similar to other comments above here, my problem is the next size up is XXXL, which apparently from SE would be 19.75inches shoulder (which is fine) but then the chest is a super 24.5inch wide with long sleeves at 27.25....so just wanted some friendly advice please....thanks guys!

@cyclops I'd say you're probably fine to stick to a XXL, while it may be a little thicker than your CPO and jacket its unlikely to be so significantly thicker as to need to you to consider a size up

@cyclops also, not offense to SE, but I would go with the measurement on the iron hear UK site over the SE measurements. I've bought plenty from SE and it is a great place to shop, but I find their measurements are not always the most accurate.
