Both are amazing leathers, no doubt. I’d be happy with either one. If I hadn’t lucked into this one basically unworn, I would’ve snagged the new run in a heartbeat.

I have a hunch that the color potential of the new leather is a similar darker honey, like the previous version, but it's simply a much slower aging leather. I plan to give mine plenty of Texas sun to test this theory.

Curious if a different name/code/thread was ever considered when the switch was made to this new leather?
