@mclaincausey Thanks,When they do those sales I try and get something unique that I might not ordinarily get to experience, like that bottle of Cazcanes. They have a bunch of single barrel bottles, from this distillery, and they all sound pretty extraordinary with price tags to match.

Tonight a lovely bottle courtesy of @SourPower very delicate and sweet, goes down dangerously easily. Great producer. I’ve had a few of their expressions and none have missed. Thanks my man! ¡Dixeebe!

@mclaincausey is that a black bear in your yard, or is it just the mezcal making me see things?

Otis looks like a dude, very cool @mclaincausey

@scooter I’ve never tried any of those, but have heard nothing but great things about all of them. Especially the 12 yr. For my personal tastes, the sweet spot for bourbon, tends to be 7-10 years old. After that they can be a bit too oakie/oaky for my taste. Having said that, The Elijah Craig 18 is one of my all time favorites. I felt that the Knob Creek 14 was a bit too oaky for me. How would you rate these on their oakiness level?
-
My buddy got me some of the Luxardo cherries and I had to try them right away lol
Holy shit what a difference. I never thought I could justify the price but now idk if I can go back.

-
@WhiskeySandwich remember when Sazerac was nearly impossible to find?
-
@WhiskeySandwich definitely better than generic cocktail cherries. These are also good, but not cheap.

-
@SKT yeah I’m really glad at least one of the BT faves became readily available again. I think the whiskey boom has slowed a bit. It did its damage on prices tho
-
@Tago-Mago they go down surprisingly well. One doesn’t even know you have had a drink until you fall off the 10 foot step ladder.
