I couldn't resist... Watermelon and this shirt for the win this season. The yellow is the best part on it.

Was looking for help with sizing. I normally wear an XL in everything Iron Heart. 6'2" 180 lbs. But not sure if I should go L or M on this item. The sleeve length is what is getting me. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Personally I wouldn't ever jump two sizes. This is meant to be roomier, but even then I wouldn't skip down from XL to M. Each to their own.
I wear Large in UHF's and went to Medium for the Green check overshirt, but it's a diff cut and it's not easy to directly compare. M was smaller than I thought, even though the measurements might have indicated otherwise. Ok for me though. But I would never ever have got away with S for instance.

Have to stress, it's a personal thing, but I wouldn't be going from XL to M.

I went with my normal size (XL). My concern was that the sleeves would be too short if I sized down. I’ll know later today once it’s delivered.

@jjwoody13 hey mate, I tried sizing down 2 sizes (L) on my first attempt of an overshirt and I had to send it back. On my next attempt I just went a single size down (XL) which dimensionally was still larger than my regular XXL size and it fits perfectly. Have you tried the compare function on their site?

I usually wear an Xxl and originally tried an xl and it fit but for wearing this as a jacket over perhaps another heavy, I ended up staying with a xxl. The fabric is very soft so I didn’t notice much like longer sleeves. I could have gone either way.

I went to my local retailer to check it out. Didn't want to buy into the new cut without trying it on first.
While it is boxier than usual, it is not as large as I would have assumed from the measurements alone.
Did not buy it, but would have taken my usual size. Sleeves were too short when sizing down.

I would also recommend normal sizing if u want to layer up. I typically wear xxl or xxxl in work shirt depending on dims. I went w normal sizing however asked for one on the smaller side and this one is perfect. The colors really pop in person. Got a few compliments at my local fishermen’s bar this morning. 😁 Apologies on behalf of my rude friend.

@sabergirl it is rather leightweight, contradicting the heavy zipper and the HD snaps a little. and it was missing the CPO style pockets, i was immediately searching for those!

I find myself hunting for them in the two over shirts I have, too @tody I wonder if the UHF version also is a bit overwhelmed by the zip? I’d like a version with just snaps.

The color on this one is very striking. I’ve just got a bit of an aversion to red for the last decade or so. Which is a shame, cuz I love red and have some nice red flannels already.
